At the Travel Centre we employ over 20 staff to assist visitors with any information, advice and bookings they may need while visiting Tasmania.

We are located in the centre of Hobart and we possess a unique resource of knowledge and information drawn from years of living in Tasmania and working in the tourism industry.  We are here to help you and we welcome any questions you might have.

In Summer I love to go to Mures on Hobart's Waterfront to buy a Honeycombe Crunch ice cream cone, then wander around the docks watching the fishing boats, kayaks and yachts come and go.

David's tips

Hobart has some great parks.

Parliament Street Park is great for a game of soccer or to throw a frisbee.

Princes Park at the end of Salamanca Place has the best priate ship in town!
