Darlington Beach House @ Spring Beach
Darlington Beach House is a beautifully appointed holiday house at Spring Beach, Orford - a tranquil fishing village at the mouth of the beautiful Prosser River and southern gateway to Tasmania's stunning East Coast. Darlington is situated on a 2 acre bush garden and enjoys expansive ocean views over coastal reserve and Mercury Passage towards Maria Island National Park. The property is only a short walk to two beautiful white sandy beaches: Spring Beach and Stapleton Beach. The beach house is comfortable, airy and light, with contemporary furnishings, quality towels/linen, essential oil soaps, a generously equipped Chef's kitchen with stainless steel/European appliances, a partially stocked pantry, a wood heating fire for cold winter nights, a reverse-cycled air conditioning/heating system, air-spa bath plus luxury underfloor heating and second bathroom in the self-contained adult retreat on the lower level. Darlington accommodates 2-8 guests comfortably over two self-contained levels, ideal for couples seeking a romantic break as well as families/ friends seeking quality accommodation with flexible living spaces and rental options. Darlington Beach House is one hour from Hobart, over one hours to Freycinet National Park (less to East Coast Wineries, and only 35 minutes to the Coal Valley Wine region).
Derby Base is a three bed house that can sleep up to seven guests, situated in a quiet location just a short walk (or pedal) to the Derby shops and the Blue Derby mountain bike trails. Derby Base has been set up with comfort in mind - plush beds (1 queen, 4 king-singles, 1 single, 1 portacot), chaise lounge, full kitchen (with dishwasher and Nespresso), slow combustion fire, flat screen TV and full laundry facilities. There is also an outdoor entertaining area with gas barbecue, two areas for lock up bike storage and plenty of off street parking.
Derby Digs Cottage
Welcome to Derby Digs Cottage self-contained accommodation! The name “Digs” means lodgings and it is our vision to specialise in lodgings for mountain bikers and families. Derby Digs Cottage is a fully self contained home away from home and comfortably sleeps eight guests in three rooms. The main bedroom has a two single beds (or a double), and bedrooms two and three each have a double bunk and a single bed. It is our aim to make your stay with us as comfortable and memorable as possible. Derby Digs Cottage accommodation is in the heart of Derby Tasmania and just 50m from the trail-head of the Blue Derby mountain bike network.

Derby Forest Cabin's provides a peaceful retreat after your adventures amongst north east Tasmania's many attractions. Nestled amongst the forest of the Mutual Valley next to the incredible BlueDerby Mountain Bike Network, unwind after big day on your bike, or take in the view and let the natural beauty of Tasmania work its magic. Each self contained two-bedroom cabins can sleep up to for people on king singles, or allow us to join them together to form a comfortable king double. All rooms enjoy views of the Mutual Valley forest, FOXTEL, a modern kitchen and clean bathroom. All guests are encouraged to enjoy the equipped gazebo and fire pit that projects up into the beautiful Mutual Valley. On site managers are present to make to your stay as relaxing as possible. Derby Forest Cabins is perfect for families, bird watchers, large groups, mountain bikers or anyone looking for a wilderness escape only 5km's off the highway. Derby Forest Cabins is a 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from Launceston.
Devonport Bed and Breakfast
Cameo Cottage (c.1914) is a delightful two bedroom home, beside the Mersey River in Devonport. Cameo is fully self-contained and renovated, set in a lovely cottage style garden. It has a fully equipped kitchen, shower in bathroom and it is furnished in a modern country style. Ideally located for a quiet, relaxing, private stay. The main bedroom offers a queen-size bed and the second bedroom two singles. Barbecue facilities are provided and off street under cover parking. Generous breakfast provisions are included. For those who like an early morning or evening stroll, there are walking/cycle tracks beside the river. Some people may even like to try their luck at fishing. The main central business district is within easy walking distance to banks, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Devonport has an 18-hole golf course, an Olympic sized pool, safe swimming beaches, and at nearby Don River you can take a steam railway trip. Devonport is a perfect location to make your base and enjoy many day trips. A ten-minute drive away you will find Latrobe with its many antique shops, restaurants, House of Anvers chocolate factory, and platypus tours. Cradle Mountain is approximately a 90-minute drive away.
