BCT is a rural retreat in a quiet, secluded and peaceful bush valley. Located in Glenfern high above New Norfolk in the Derwent Valley, less than sixty minutes from Hobart, this architect-designed facility is the ideal getaway if you're seeking a sublimely peaceful place to relax and unwind. Accommodation choices range from our self-contained cabin (for up to six guests) with private facilities, a clean and cosy dormitory (for up to ten guests) with rucksack storage, to our campsites. All guests have access to the communal facilities including free laundry and barbecue, and all facilities are designed to minimise their environmental impact using natural materials, recyclable waste systems, energy efficient power and a natural water supply. Discover a variety of unique Tasmanian animals, birdlife and flora on our 41 hectares, or take an easy drive to some of Tasmania's World Heritage wilderness areas and National Parks close by. Batman Fawkner Inn
Batman Fawkner Inn is a place full of history. This lovely historical building was built back in 1824 and was where a meeting was held which resulted in the settlement of Melbourne. The Batman Fawkner Inn boasts a range of 40 rooms including Family, King, Queen, Double, Twin, and Backpacker all with private in-room bathrooms. All rooms (excluding backpacker) have in-room reverse cycle air conditioners, digital televison, tea/coffee making facilities and fridges. Backpacker rooms have in-room heating, ensuite bathrooms and are bunk style accommodation. Situated in the centre of Launceston's CBD, we are only a five-minute drive from the City Park, a ten-minute drive to Cataract Gorge/Tamar River and close to shopping centres and the mall. We are also only a ten-minute walk from Aurora Stadium, Tasmania's home of AFL Football. We offer free Wi-Fi internet (limits apply and additional can be purchase) in all areas of the hotel which includes in all rooms. On-site laundry facilities are also available. We have a large Common Room/Lounge which has a kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, fridge and preparation area), lounge and wide-screen television, 8-ball table, large dining table and vending machines.
Batt's Cottage is a fully self-contained superb Georgian convict brick cottage at Bothwell. Built in 1840 and National Trust registered, the cottage has recently been tastefully restored to provide all modern facilities and conveniences whilst maintaining its historic, rustic charm. There are two bedrooms, the main has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two singles. The open plan lounge and kitchen has a large open log fireplace - which creates a romantic atmosphere whilst warming the whole cottage on cold nights. The fire is pre set and ample firewood is provided. There is also electric heating. An open vine-covered courtyard with outdoor furniture and a large gas barbecue leads to a separate bunkhouse that sleeps five (one double, three singles). The lounge sofa converts to a double bed if necessary and additional fold up beds, a baby's cot and a high chair are available on request. Basic breakfast provisions are provided which include tea, coffee, milk, a choice of cereals, fruit packs and a variety of spreads. Bothwell is steeped in history, and is the natural gateway to Tasmania's lake country, with world class trout fisheries, and boasts the oldest golf course in the southern hemisphere.
Battery Point Garden Studio
Battery Point Garden Studio offers self-contained bed and breakfast accommodation in Battery Point, Hobart. Originally a port and maritime village, Battery Point is a five-minute walk from the central business district of Hobart. The Battery Point Garden Studio's Garden Room can accommodate two guests in one double bedroom. The Balcony Room has a queen sized bed and there is a trundle bed for a third person. Rooms have ensuite bathrooms and a common sitting/dining area with an extensive Tasmanian library. A fresh breakfast basket can be delivered to the door each morning. The Studio is surrounded by garden and overlooks the Hobart waterfront. There is adjacent parking. Battery Point is named after a battery of guns (long since removed) that were established on the point in 1818. Battery Point and Salamanca have a number of galleries, art studios, antique and craft shops, restaurants and cafes. There are a huge number of heritage and National Trust-listed buildings in the area, including the Georgian sandstone warehouses of Salamanca Place. Battery Point Garden Studio is a short walk from Salamanca, the Hobart waterfront and central business district.

Battery Point Holiday Apartments offers self contained accommodation near Hobart, in Tasmania's south. Battery Point Manor is a spacious Georgian-style home, originally built for a prominent family, in the heart of Hobart’s original settlement. Bay Retreat Port Arthur
Bay Retreat Port Arthur offers tranquil waterfront accommodation in Port Arthur on the Tasman Peninsula. It is located only a three-minute drive from the Port Arthur Historic Site. Your accommodation is a fully self contained retreat on a quiet point surrounded by beach and trees. It caters for couples and families, up to a maximum of eight people. You only need to pack your clothes and food and everything else is provided. There are three bedrooms - one queen room, a second queen room with optional single and a twin single room with optional single trundle. Bay Retreat is non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Bay View House
Wake up in the morning to see a mountain rising out of the sea while you breakfast on the sunny deck. Bay View House is a two storey house with stunning views of Killiecrankie Bay and Mount Killiecrankie and is just two minutes' walk from the beautiful Killiecrankie beach. The house is fully self-contained with five bedrooms (two double, three twin) and comfortably sleeps 10 people, making it ideal for families, bushwalking groups, photography groups and others. All bedding and linen provided. There are two bathrooms, plus a big kitchen/dining area and separate lounge opening onto the deck with gas BBQ Facilities include a well equipped kitchen with cooking facilities include microwave oven, freezer, tea/coffee making facilities. The lounge area has an integrated television and CD player. You will see wallabies on the front lawn every evening and if you look closely there is even a resident wombat!

Coles Bay is just over two and a half hours' drive (212 kilometres/131 miles) from Hobart, and two hours from Launceston.
