Bicheno by the Bay
Bicheno by the Bay offers self-contained accommodation on Tasmania's stunning East Coast. Overlooking the Tasman Sea, sit back and enjoy the scenic view. There are 19 individual timber cottages ranging from one to four bedrooms. Each has their own fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, separate bedrooms and living area. Each cottage also has a covered carport and a private deck. The main bedroom has a queen and the remaining rooms are mainly appointed with single beds. Depending on your needs the 'A frame' foreshore cottages are suitable for couples and the four bedroom accommodation will sleep up to nine. The mid-range cottages are ideal for a family or two. There are also four motel style rooms with guest laundry and a two room motel suite sleeping four. More than three acres of surrounding bushland is filled with eucalypts, acacias and native plants. Keep an eye out for local wildlife including possums, wallabies and yellow tailed black cockatoos. You are perfectly positioned to explore the Freycinet and Douglas Apsley National Parks. Bicheno Cabin Park
Bicheno Cabin Park offers 18 self-contained ensuite cabins at Bicheno, on Tasmania's picturesque east coast. They offer different types of ensuite cabins. Choose from the Deluxe, Standard or Two to Three Bedroom Cottages. All cabins are non-smoking and some have air conditioning. The main bed is made for guests and linen for bunks is supplied. Each cabin has cooking facilities (cooktop or full stove) with microwave and refrigerator, heating and televisions. Cots and highchairs are available. There is a children's playground, guest laundry and free barbecues. They are only 500 metres from Waubs Bay beach and 800 metres from the town centre. Book a penguin tour or wander along the foreshore walk on dusk to spot little penguins. Bicheno is just over a two-hour drive from Hobart (178 kilometres) or Launceston (170 kilometres).
Bicheno East Coast Holiday Park
Bicheno East Coast Caravan Park is located on Tasmania's stunning East Coast in central Bicheno. There are one and two bedroom self-contained cabins and apartments available at the park. This accommodation includes private bathrooms, cooking facilities with microwave oven, fridge, cook-top, television, heaters, linen and blankets. The Big4 Iluka Holiday Centre offers cabin, hostel and camping accommodation on Tasmania's Freycinet Peninsula. Located at Coles Bay, the property is a two-and-a-half hour drive from Hobart (212 kilometres). The accommodation includes self-contained timber cabins overlooking Muir's beach and Great Oyster Bay. The open-plan cabins have a queen bed in the main bedroom and four bunk beds in the second bedroom. Kelso Sands Holiday Park is a caravan and cabin park on the Tamar River, Northern Tasmania.
