Blue House - The
Nested in the heart of the beautiful Tamar Valley in Tasmania, The Blue House is a traditional fishermans cottage just 50 m from the water. The house was renovated in December 2013 to provide comfortable stylish accommodation with eco credentials. The Blue House can accommodate up to six guests in three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two single beds. The main loft bedroom is upstairs and has water views. There is a separate toilet, bathroom with separate bath and shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is set in an attractive garden with a gas barbecue and outdoor setting for al fresco dining. Just a 30-minute drive from the Tasmania's second city, Launcestion, Swan Point is located midway up the Tamar River estuary and is an ideal base for exploring the numerous boutique vineyards of the valley. There are beautiful riverside walks along the river bank and willife and birdlife abounds. The popular sandy shore of Paper Beach provides a safe swimming spot for children and opportunity to wet a line is at your doorstep. The Blue Wren Tea Gardens is a self-contained apartment on Tasmania’s North West coast.
