Backpackers Imperial Hotel in Hobart is located in the city centre and prides itself on offering a clean, safe and friendly place to stay while exploring Hobart and South Tasmania. We are a fresh chic property with a cool vibe and have a funky and retro feel. Being centrally located, we are in walking distance to the Waterfront and Salamanca, Restaurants and City Shopping Arcades. The Backpackers completed a refurbishment in December 2013 of all beds, kitchen/dining, lounges and painting throughout. We have ten bathrooms, Female and Male, with several showers and toilets in each.
Baileys Lane is just a five minutes' drive from Whitemark, Flinders Island's main centre, its off the Lady Barron Road and down a short lane. Set in a large grassed area, this north facing property reflects its 1950s origins. Decorated with an eclectic mix of contemporary art and 1950s retro and with sculptural works in the grounds, the property is set for a relaxing break. There are three bedrooms all with king or queen size beds with two toilets, two showers, well three, if you count the the hot outdoor shower as well and a bath. There is a separate lounge and large kitchen, living, dining area. It's full of light and space with lots of atmosphere, you can enjoy the morning sun and the sound of the magpies. There is a gas cooker, heaps of bench space and the romance of a slow combustion stove. The house is fully equipped with all the usual things to make a great holiday, including a coffee machine! A great place to entertain or just sit outside and take in the views of Mt Strzelecki. Baileys Lane also offers guests an edible garden and seasonal fruits like apricots and mulberries. Ballachulish Farm Stay
Ballachulish is a 10 acre boutique vegetable farm and self catering holiday house. Positioned perfectly on the hill above the picturesque Forth village in North West Tasmania. You will be delighted with the magnificent views from every window of the surrounding paddocks and mountains to the west, and the lovely old garden that surrounds the house. The house affords maximum privacy without being isolated and is only minutes away by car from the Forth Village and a seven-minute drive from Devonport. The farm is close to many tourist attractions, some as close as a five-minute drive away. Namely the Don Railway and only a little over a one-hour drive to the magnificent Cradle Mountain National Park. The house is right on the Cradle Coast Tasting Trail. Ballachulish has been fully renovated to a high standard and sleeps seven people. We offer two queen beds and a double/single bunk. The kitchen is the hub of the house and a delight to cook in with all new top range appliances. The views from here of the garden are beautiful. The house is well appointed with three televisions, sound system, wireless broadband, heaters in every room and a small office area with printer.

Batt's Cottage is a fully self-contained superb Georgian convict brick cottage at Bothwell. Built in 1840 and National Trust registered, the cottage has recently been tastefully restored to provide all modern facilities and conveniences whilst maintaining its historic, rustic charm. There are two bedrooms, the main has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two singles. The open plan lounge and kitchen has a large open log fireplace - which creates a romantic atmosphere whilst warming the whole cottage on cold nights. The fire is pre set and ample firewood is provided. There is also electric heating. An open vine-covered courtyard with outdoor furniture and a large gas barbecue leads to a separate bunkhouse that sleeps five (one double, three singles). The lounge sofa converts to a double bed if necessary and additional fold up beds, a baby's cot and a high chair are available on request. Basic breakfast provisions are provided which include tea, coffee, milk, a choice of cereals, fruit packs and a variety of spreads. Bothwell is steeped in history, and is the natural gateway to Tasmania's lake country, with world class trout fisheries, and boasts the oldest golf course in the southern hemisphere.
