Stay at this conveniently located Greater Hobart property on the Heritage Highway in the village of Pontville, Tasmania. Enjoy close proximity to the many attractions that Hobart and the Southern area of Tasmania has to offer.
With its convenient location in the heritage town of Pontville on the fringe of Hobart we are just a 5 minute drive from Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, fifteen minutes to the historic town of Richmond and its surrounding wineries and the jewel in Tasmania’s crown, MONA.
Lythgo’s Row Colonial Cottages offers couples comfortable, lovingly restored cottages, inside a circa 1845 heritage listed building. With exquisite attention to detail all the cottages offer king size pillow top beds, reverse cycle air-conditioning, smart TV’s, free Wi-Fi, coffee and tea making facilities plus a Lavazza pod machine and a Welcome Hamper comprising of many local goodies for a continental breakfast and beyond.
Being located North of Hobart not only will you be close to all the attractions of Southern Tasmania but in an ideal position to explore the Midlands and the Highlands where stunning scenery abounds. Not to mention the Whiskey and Gin distilleries that are abundant in this area.
Just within a leisurely 15 minute drive from Lythgo’s Row there is a variety of tourism attractions such as MONA, home to Dark Mofo, Derwent Entertainment Centre, Tattersall’s Park Race course, host of the Hobart Cup and the Hobart Showgrounds. A mere 15 minutes further on will find you in downtown Hobart where Salamanca Place awaits which is home to the famous Saturday markets. These wharves are some of the deepest in the world and have a multitude of restaurants and shops. Additional adventures may include Kelly steps and Battery Point. This area is best known for the celebrated Sydney to Hobart Yacht race.
Alternatively, just sit back and relax, explore our lovely little heritage village, pop in to the Crown Inn circa 1835, literally over the road for Bistro meals 7 nights a week or a well deserved drink or two after a great day sightseeing. Alternatively enjoy fabulous local produce and beverages at Twelve Stones Restaurant located in the old Uniting Church circa 1874 just the other side of the bridge from Lythgo’s Row.

The following Terms and Conditions apply to your stay at Lythgos Row.
Late Check-Out
Late checkouts are available upon request. Please contact Reception to check availability. Additional fees may be applied. A late check-out fee may apply if the cottage is not vacated prior to the set check-out time of 11 am.
Guarantee Policy
A valid Credit Card is required at time of booking and a valid Credit Card must be presented at time of check in.
No Party Policy
Lythgos Row has a strict no party policy. In the event that any cottage/guest is identified as having a party the owners reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the cottage up to and including the guest who has registered for the cottage to vacate the premises. In the event that an eviction does occur the accommodation is non refundable. In addition the registered guests will be required to settle the account prior to departure for any expense resulting from additional cleaning of the cottage replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage as well as for any required repairs.
Pay On Arrival Policy
Guests booking on Standard Rate can choose to book now and pay on arrival. A valid Credit Card is required at time of booking however the full payment isnt required until check-in. Changes and cancellations are permitted up until 2 pm 48 hours prior to arrival. Changes or cancellations after this time will be charged in full. No shows will also be charged in full.
Non-refundable booking
All non-refundable bookings will be charged in full with-in 24 hours of making the booking and can not be cancelled.
Identification
Upon arrival Guests must provide valid Federal or State Government issued photographic identification for security purposes. The booking must be under the name of the person checking in. In addition the Guest must also provide a credit card in the name of the photographic ID.
