Pumphouse Point is an historic industrial site, restored to offer boutique accommodation inside Tasmania’s Wilderness World Heritage Area. It does not aspire to offer luxury, exclusive only by way of its size and location; not its price.
The property is set against some of the most dramatic natural landscape on the planet, but the setting is really only the very beginning. Instead, the opportunity to reflect, rejuvenate, explore, adventure and interact is what makes the Pumphouse experience so special – a unique personal encounter for all who come to stay.
There are 18 rooms in total, 12 rooms out in the Pumphouse and 6 in the Shorehouse on the water’s edge.

Located on picturesque Lake St Clair, 2.5 hours from Hobart & 2.5 hours from Launceston.
Where a booking is cancelled after 5pm 30 days prior to the arrival date no refund will be given.
No refund will be granted for cancellation of bookings for stays between 25th December and 4th January inclusive; or for the part of the booking which falls between these dates.
No refund will be granted in the event that a guest does not arrive for their booking.
No Children Policy
Pumphouse Point is an adults only wilderness retreat and does not permit infants children aged 18 years and under.
